Pornstar Network

We’d like to take the time and first of all, thank all of the fans that have been with us since Puba launched a couple years ago.  The company started from just an idea and it’s pretty facinating to see how much the company has grown and become.

A lot of people always ask ‘What is Puba?’ so let’s first start off by clarifying where that came from.  The term ‘puba’ refers to the old expression ‘Grand Poobah’, or ‘Grand Puba’, a grand master or leader of an organization (there is also a rapper by the name of Grand Puba).  And at the time of trying to acquire domain names, I stumbled across this 4 letter domain that was owned by someone in Asia.  I spent just about every dime I had on the domain, because I knew it was a great name and the value of a 4 letter domain is just like having real estate.  The domain puba.com wasn’t even intended on being an adult site until much later; I just wanted to acquire some investment for a future project I was thinking about.

As the start of the company began, it wasn’t determined whether we were going to do individual pornstar websites or if we were going to network pornstar websites together.  So I figured that by investing some value into the company, we should consider building a brand that can by synonymous with quality; since we were providing the best xxx content out there, with myself being a photographer from Brazzers, and our head of production, Ivan, was the leader director for hardcore gonzo porn company, Anabolic.  As the DVD porn companies were slowly deteriorating, we slowly started building our niche:  the best pornstar websites that are out there.  We started our network with three pornstar websites:  London Keyes, Jayden Jaymes, and Mason Moore.  From there we’ve grown to 20 websites in two years, building our porn traffic much faster than any other new company that launched the same time we launched; and we’re continuing to build pornstar websites with more top quality pornstars in the porn biz.

So what’s next for Puba?  Our focus is building the user experience a little better in our members area.  We have so much hardcore porn that we need to find an easy way for members to access it.  A new Puba members area will launch in November, followed by a more streamlined Live Porn Show system that will have live porn shows for members along with better notifications when a show is actually live.
